Insurance

These terms can be very deceiving for a consumer since they may only mean that the mover's trucks and workers are fully insured as required by law, however, movers are not required to carry full insurance for the contents or cargo that is on the truck. The consumer must ask for additional insurance or increased valuation and pay a fee for the coverage, otherwise you will receive only the minimum coverage. You must declare the total value of everything that is being moved since one customer's goods may be be worth more than another. We advise consumers to check with their homeowner or dwellers insurance for comparison cost on coverage and to verify the amount of insurance that you have through that policy.
